IMPORTANT: GHDL is now hosted by github. Please go there to download latest sources and binaries.
Since May 2006, there is a pre-built version of windows. This is a command-line only version, almost like the Linux version. You can download the installer, and execute it to install GHDL.
You can download the binaries for i686-pc-linux-gnu here. Please, read the INSTALL file before installing the binaries. Also, GHDL has been packaged for Debian.
Currently, GHDL is only available for the GNU/Linux system and for Windows, simply because I have only access to this system. However, some people successfully compiled GHDL on Sparc, MacOSX (see eng-osx project at sourceforge), or Windows (with Cygwin).
You can download the sources of ghdl here. GNAT is only required to build GHDL from the sources. If you don't have GNAT installed, get it from libre2 site.
A development version is also available on the gna site as an SVN repository. The development version is not stable, not tested and may not even compile.
